Description: Allen & Ginter lot incl. advertising piece cards, and boxes (16 pieces) (Range PR-EX/MT) Includes large 8.75"x12.5" color lithographic "Old Rip" advertising like display which was likely adhered to inside lid of a counter display box. Toning and wear throughout with holes and areas of surface loss; (4) card panel in (2) sections of "Old Rip" advertising trade cards (presumably A&G though not marked); Richmond Straight Cut slide shell box with partial 1889 overstamped tax stamp (displays as VG/EX when positioned but there is severe damage to one side and the back); (2) T-Card sized Richmond Straight Cut advertising card (EX-EX/MT); 1888 N11 Flags of The States & Territories Indian Territory card graded SGC 60 EX; (2) 1887 N1 American Editors - Sam Bowles and A.H. Belo (VG/EX-EX); 1888 N33 World's Smokers Old Planter (VG/EX); Early gold background trade card (EX) with Victorian era female sitting with box of Richmond Gem. Back lists several brands incl. Opera Puffs.
