Description: 1890 Calendar with (12) individual sporting themed pages incl. early baseball scene (EX-EX/MT) Individual 7.75"x8.25" heavy stock calendar pages printed by J.Ottmann Lithography and advertising "Eli Keen's Sons Hats Caps & Straw Goods" of Philadelphia bound together with string through riveted eyelets at top. Each features a different period sporting scene with themes including baseball, ice skating, sailing, horseback riding, fishing, rowing, lacrosse, hunting, sledding, and beach going. In (20) years of handling early baseball material this is the first time we have encountered this particular early illustration which offers striking display qualities.
