Description: Allen & Ginter - Virginia Brights (2) and Dixie cigarette boxes with assorted example cards (9 total pieces) (Range GD/VG-EX/MT) Includes pair of slide and shell boxes for Virginia Brights which are well preserved (VG/EX and EX-EX/MT), each retaining at least a portiona of the original Series of 1883 tax stamp (1 overstampe 1888, the other hard to make out but appears 1890). Includes (3) period Brights related cards; (1) gold background trade card (EX with ink mark on back), and (2) different style actress cards (1 with Brights caption on front, the other on back) (VG-VG/EX). Also includes slide and shell box from Dixie Cigarettes (GD-VG) displaying toning and wear with some creasing. Retains Series of 1883 tax stamp overstamped 1892.
