Description: Muhammad Ali training trunks worn while preparing for 1980 fight vs. Larry Holmes signed (3) times (Craig Hamilton and JSA LOAs) (EX) White satin boxing trunks with black waistband and trim retain original "Everlast" manufacturers tag on front with "Made Expressly for Muhammad Ali." Below is a size "X-Large" flag tag. Draw string on interior remains intact. Heavy evident wear with scattered staining. Signed twice on the front and once on the back, "Muhammad Ali" with (1) signature having added date of "June 5 - 80." Ink signatures on front have faded currently rating 5/6 out of 10; third signature on back rates 7 to 8 out of 10. The trunks were donated by Ali to a televised charity auction in the period and includes original Donor form, full LOA from JSA attesting to authenticity of signatures, and letter of authenticity from noted boxing expert and historian Craig Hamilton: EX ($4,000-$6,000)Final Bid: $6,000.00
