Description: "Old Judge" cigarette box (1889 tax stamp) with 1887-90 N172 example card and original 1889 player listing insert (Box VG/EX, Cards GD-EX) Slide and shell box for Old Judge cigarettes displaying moderate overall wear/toning having minute tear to upper front. Series of 1883 tax stamp on back overstamped with 1889 date. Includes 1887-90 N172 Fogarty card exhibiting heavy wear at corners with hard vertical crease and soiling/ink stampings on back.
