Description: 1963 Warren Spahn Associated Press "Wisconsin Athlete of the year" presentational certificate with related photograph and congratulatory telegram (Certificate EX/MT, Telegram EX) Framed presentational certificate as awarded to Spahn is signed at lower right by sports editor of the AP and names "Warren Spahn Milwaukee Braves" as Athlete of the Year. Measures 12"x14.5" overall with light wear to frame. Includes vintage photograph of Spahn with the award and September 16, 1963 dated congratulatory telegram from a reporter which references the honor.
