Description: Babe Ruth photograph c.1922 (PSA/DNA -Type I"). Sepia tone 8"x10" photograph showing Ruth in umpire+s gear was taken when he was on hand to officiate a youth championship baseball game at the Polo Grounds in the early 1920s. Mild wear is largely confined to corners/edges. There is a "Christy Walsh Syndicate" stamp on the back which has mounting residue at corners and some upper surface paper loss (this the result of mounting and it has limited effect on display value - when viewing from the front only a small tear can be seen at one lower corner). Includes LOA from PSA/DNA ("Type I") and letter of provenance from the Ruth Family: GD/VGEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$2,000)
