Description: Rare Babe Ruth and Herb Pennock real photographic postcard c.1918-30. Sepia tone candid image picturing a young Babe Ruth posed in riding gear with several horses and other gentleman including Boston Red Sox teammate Herb Pennock. Image quality is outstanding and the back remains postally unused with Kennett Square, PA photographer stamping (Pennock's hometown). Few vertical creases are present at left side. Possibly dating to Pennock and Ruth's tenure with the New York Yankees (1923-30) but based on appearance of Ruth we believe this may well date to the 1918-20 era as Boston Red Sox teammates.
