Fletcher on “The Updegraff” stationery reads in part, “I am ready to play and carry out my part of my contract…P.S. hope the all star league is a go will stick with you.” Signed at the close “C.E. Street” and initialed below. Includes related telegram conveying similar message. Street spent nearly (30) years in baseball a player, Manager, and Broadcaster and was a member of numerous noted teams. Light age toning to letter (pronounced spotting at upper edge). Typical mailing folds. Telegram toned with light wrinkling and several edge tears/folds. Handwriting/signature rates 9 out of 10.
