Description: 1974 World Series Umpires' ring presented to Doug Harvey. Desirable 14kt gold ring presented to Harvey who served as a member of the National League umpiring crew for the Series which was won by the Athletics. A baseball field is on the face with a large .40 to .50 Carat stone at pitchers' mound and smaller stones representing home plate and the (3) bases. Lettered "World Series Umpire 1974" around the edge. One shank has Oakland team name and the other has Los Angeles. "Doug Harvey" is engraved on the interior band. The ring appears to have been expertly resized (currently size 7.5) with no makers' mark remaining. Mild wear. Weighs (31) grams.
