Description: 1961 Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris autographed Perry Como's "Kraft Music Hall" appearance contract. September 22, 1961 dated multi-page typewritten agreement which secured an appearance by Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris on Perry Como's television show, "Kraft Music Hall." The pair were to be compensated $15,000 for their efforts, a tidy sum given the time period. Taping was scheduled for September 29th, a few days after the Yankees clinched the American League Pennant (en route to a World Series Championship), and (3) days after Maris had tied Babe Ruth's single season homerun record. Signed on the last page "Mickey Mantle" and "Roger Maris" in ink rating 8/9 out of 10. Also signed on the first page by representatives for Mantle/Maris (noted agent Frank Scott) and the production company. Includes auction LOA from JSAEstimated Price Range: ($2,000-$4,000)
