Description: Exceptional 1989 Mike Schmidt autographed final season professional model baseball bat (PSA GU 9.5)(Final MLB Season) Rawlings-Adirondack 154B Mike Schmidt model bat measures 34.5" and weighs 35.4 oz. Model number, "14" order number, and "09" year code are stamped on the knob. #20 is written on the knob and on the end of the bat in in black marker. Schmidt signed the barrel in blue marker rating 7/8 out of 10. The bat shows superior use with ball marks covering the barrel, heavy grain swelling, spike marks, grip tape above the knob, light coating of pine tar, and a slight crack at the top of the handle which has been expertly repaired. Originally obtained by a collector who received items directly from players and team employees in the period, and includes letter of provenance from the original recipient, along with LOA from Hunt Auctions and LOA from PSA/John Taube (Game Used 9.5) stating that the bat was used by Schmidt during the referenced labeling period: EXEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$10,000)
