Description: Extraordinary 1983 Pete Rose professional model Philadelphia Phillies postseason uniform (SGC/Grob: Superior). Wilson size 44 Phillies #14 Pete Rose home jersey with 1983 Phillies 100th Anniversary patch sewn on the left sleeve, and "84 1" year/set tag sewn on the front tail below the Wilson tag; along with matching Wilson size 33 Phillies pants with "Rose 84 1 29" strip tag sewn inside the waist. The Phillies are known to have ordered uniforms for the 1983 postseason with 1984 tagging, which is referenced in the included SGC/Grob LOA book and also states that this particular jersey (with emphasis on the back) appears consistent with the jersey Rose wore during at least a portion of World Series Game 5 (Rose's final game as a member of the Phillies, and collected two hits). The uniform shows signs of light to moderate use with staining on the collar and some scattered stains on the front of the jersey.
