Description: Jack and Eddie Boyle baseball related scrapbook c.1890-1910 (PR-EX). 13.5"x17" scrapbook chronicling the baseball careers of both Eddie and Jack Boyle includes numerous period newspaper articles, photographs, and general ephemera. The most interesting segment of the book includes several pages of color lithographic die cut baseball players. The blank backed thick stock paper players appear to have been cut from a larger advertising poster of some sort which, in its original form, must have been incredibly significant. Player sizes range from 2 1/2" tall to 6" tall including Comiskey, Welch, Boyle, Caruthers, and Latham.
