Description: 1919 Cincinnati Reds World Series program (GD). Original program from the Cincinnati Reds vs. Chicago White Sox 1919 World Series. The White Sox, or Black Sox as they became known, went on to throw the 1919 World Series is what is historically recognized as one of the most significant events in baseball history. Program is missing the Reds scorecard page. The White Sox scorecard page is scored in pencil for what appears to be game 2. The cover and a few inner pages are detached from the binding. Tape strip marks are visible along the binding of the front and back cover. There are also a few small tears, one of which has a small piece of clear tape reinforcing it at the bottom of the cover: GDFinal Bid: $520.00
