Description: Vintage Christy Mathewson & Hughey Jennings I.C.S. "Score a Hit" advertising postcard c.1922 (EX/MT). 3 1/4"x6 1/8" tri-fold postcard issued by the International Correspondance Schools of Scranton, PA. Mathewson and Jennings are depicted on the cover with quotes from each. Within, there is an unused scorecard and a course selection page. Oscar L. Fuhr is also depicted inside and it states that he is a pitcher for the St. Louis Browns (he was never listed on a Browns roster). On the back is a write-up about the I.C.S. which states that they have been in existance for 31 years. The I.C.S. started around 1891, so this dates to around 1922.
