Description: Interesting lot of (32) baseball related checks - (30) signed/endorsed by player/related (FR-EX) Includes Tom Seaver twice signed travelers cheque (likely done at the request of a collector as there are not any Seaver checks on the marker); 1978 dated New York Yankees check issued to Joe DiMaggio (secreterial signature on the back - NOT signed by DiMaggio); personal checks (or similar) signed on the front (8) including Charlie Root, Allie Reynolds, Johnny VanderMeer, Willie Hudlin, Cecil Travis, Joe Wood, George Sisler Jr, and Paul Dean; 1944 dated check signed by the wife of Chief Bender; assortment of (21) checks which have been endorsed on the back by former baseball players (or related) with some better pieces mixed in. Includes Horace Stonham (1942), Monte Irvin (1954 Art Flynn check, may have been signed at a later time), Danny Murtaugh (1958), Hal Schumacher, Chico Carrasqual, Al Barlick, Ed Stanky, Don Larsen, Pete Gray, Babe Dahlgren, Warren Spahn, Curt Simmons, Greg Gross, Denny Doyle, and others.
