Description: 1970 Joe Frazier signed Philadelphia PAL presentational plaque from Commissioner Frank Rizzo (EX/MT) Large format wooden plaque (18"x16") has affixed metal scroll style placard engraved throughout with titling/text and reads in part, "Police Athletic League of Philadelphia Salutes its most illustrious alumnus Joe Frazier, Heavyweight Champion of The World...his achievements in the ring has instilled a new sense of pride in the hearts of all Philadelphians, Feb. 27, 1970, Commissioner Frank L. Rizzo..." Mounted at side is a raised portion which has an image Frazier fighting Ali (printed on metal) which is accented both above and below. Frazier has autographed the plaque along upper edge in black marker rating 7-7/8 out of 10. Light/mild scattered wear.
