Medallions mounted at either side feature relief portraits of Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali. The belt is accompanied by documentation from the W.B.C. to include a July 2009 dated letter signed by WBC President Jose Sulaiman which reads "The World Boxing Council if proud to present Smoking Joe Frazier with a special WBC replica belt, as the closest available replacement to his original Championship belt that was so very generously awarded by Frazier to Nelson Mandela upon his release from prison. Please note that both pieces of documentation were previously housed in a display and the typed letter has small pieces of velcro on each back corner, the COA has a piece of double sided tape adhered to front which would likely cause damage if removed.
