Robinson, Ott, Dean, Cobb, and others c.1930s-50s, lot of (20) acetate negatives (Overall EX/MT) Includes (3) images of Jackie Robinson as he crossed homeplate (1 sliding, 2 running); outstanding shot of Dizzy Dean seated in the dugout in Cardinals uniform and additional image identified as Dean with his wife at Rockingham Park; (3) images of Mel Ott with the New York Giants; series of (5) related negatives showing the scene as umpire Jocko Conlan ejects player Bill Meyer from a game in Chicago c.1948; Ty Cobb throwing a hay bale with pitch fork; (4) images of Jimmie Foxx post-retirement in the 1950s; image of Lefty Grove in Red Sox uniform; and image of Joe McCarthy and Connie Mack.
