Description: Mickey Mantle signed publication photograph with Joplin - one of the earliest Mantle signed images we have handled and an incredible rarity (full JSA LOA) (Photo displays EX, Sig. EX/MT-NM) Sepia toned printed publication page photograph (visible area of 4.75"x6.75") depicting Mickey Mantle while with the Joplin Minors has been signed in his early style "Mickey Mantle" rating 8 out of 10. This is without question one of the earliest autographed images of Mantle extant, signed on the cusp of his Legendary career. The photo itself was likely taken during the 1950 season when he was not even (20) years old and was more than certainly signed in the same time period. Tastefully framed for display (12"x14" overall) with some light toning/wear visible incl. some chips at top edge which has tape in left corner.
