Description: Babe Ruth at Fenway Park in the early 1930s, glass plate negative (EX/MT) Striking image of Ruth in the visitor's dugout of Fenway Park, wrapped in a blanket and carefully studying the play out of frame. Bunting visible in background suggests that it was likely an Opening Day game. Without question one of the most visually appealing Ruth photographs we have ever seen. Vintage glass plate negative with little to no wear affecting central/image portion, and touch of typical/expected light wear to extreme edges noted for accuracy. Approximately 4"x5".
