Description: September 17, 1963 "Spahnie Night" presentational metal placard from Milwaukee Braves teammates (EX/MT) Gold colored 6"x8" brass/metal placard has been engraved on the front, "Spahnie Night, September 17, 1963, Best Wishes From The Players." Listed below are his teammates including Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews, Del Crandall, Joe Torre, and Manager Bobby Bragan. Light wear primarily effecting (2) corners. Back has evidence of a pair of adhesive strips, evidence that the placard was at one time mounted (though unclear as to original intended purpose). Desirable presentation piece offering a host of display options. Includes vintage photographic print (late 1970s) of a Spahn Hall of Fame type placard and earlier period (c.1960s) 4"x5" portrait photo for display, original "Spahnie" pin from the vent, and letter of provenance from the Spahn family: EX/MT ($1,000-$2,000)Final Bid: $584.00
