Description: Museum quality "YOWA B.B.C." baseball club display flag c.1870s - Magnificent and one of a kind display piece (Apparent EX/MT-NM) Early handmade black flag with intricately embroidered central design having "Yowa" titling atop and "B.B.C" below a crossed bats logo which is accented with period hat and (3) balls. Edges are ringed with elaborate period appropriate trim and left edge has remnants of original tassles. Exceptionally well preserved with just a touch of wear visible at left edge. Professionally mounted and framed for display to overall size of 27.25"x42.5". Flag itself measures approx. 19"x34": Apparent EX/MT-NM ($5,000-$7,500)Final Bid: $6,655.00
