Description: Kid Elberfeld (d.1944) signed/inscribed baseball with enhanced Babe Ruth (Overall EX/MT) Harwood "Official League" baseball with "All-American Baseball School" titling on sweetspot has been signed on the side panel, "Norman Kid Elberfeld, Am.+ Natl league 17 years, Boy Wonder." Fountain pen signature rates 8 to 9 out of 10. Elberfeld was a highly regarded early player making his professional debut in 1898 with the Philadelphia Phillies and ending his career in 1914 with the Brooklyn Robins. In between he played for the Reds, Tigers, Highlanders, and Senators. His signature is quite scarce and we are near certain in stating that this is likely the only baseball which can be displayed as single signed with added desirability having been so inscribed. In addition, a signature of Babe Ruth which has been enhanced/traced appears on opposite panel and there is also a signature of Bill Jurges.
