Description: Babe Ruth Quaker Oats advertising display c.1935 (Displays VG - see description) Colorful die-cut store advertising display picturing Ruth at upper left with a variety of premium pieces below which could be obtained through a box top redemption. Consistent toning/surface discoloration throughout with wear/chipping at corners/edges. Two large tears at either side with one running through the Ruth likeness and the other extending 5" in from right side and then 2" down. There is an additional tear and puncture within the body of the piece. Smaller tear at bottom edge along with large chip. Displays at higher level than technically described damage would indicate.
