Description: Large format c.1952 Ted Williams Day color photograph prior to leaving for Korean War (EX) Scarce 11"x14" image of Ted Williams as taken on April 30, 1952 as we was honored in Fenway Park just before shipping out to the Korean War. Light surface wear to image; more pronounced wear/toning to matting. Measures 14.75"x19" overall. One of a very few color photographs of Ted Williams taken during his playing days.
