Description: Christy Mathewson autographed United States Army World War I issued map of Montsec, France (PSA/DNA "Mint 9"). Large paper map titled "Montsec" at the top was issued to Christy Mathewson and presumably carried through France during his time as a member of the Chemical Warface Service in World War I. On the back is a very large "C. Mathewson" signature (5.5" long) done in pencil which has been authenticated by PSA and graded "Mint 9." The map (approx. 23.25"x32") has mild toning and expected handling wear and fold lines. "Base Printing Plant 29th Engineers, U.S. Army 1918" printed at one lower corner. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA and Mathewson Collection certificate of provenance: Sig. PSA/DNA Mint 9, Map GD
