Description: College All-Star Game helmet c.1930-40s. Silver helmet was fitted with red and blue leather straps and intended for use in one of the annual College All-Star Games which were played annually at Soldier Field in Chicago. "Wilson" logo is impressed on the forehead area and there are some additional markings including size (7 1/8) and model (D236RXC). The name "Jeff" is written inside. One of the more visually appealing designs dating to a period in which helmets tended to be very plain and utilitarian.
