Description: Fred Gehrke 1945 Cleveland Rams World Championship10K gold commemorative ring. Commemorative ring commissioned to honor the Rams likely produced in the 1970s or 80s. A red stone sits on blue upper surface which is lettered "1945 World Champions" around the beveled edge. "Rams" team name is at the top of one shank with "NFL" lettered below in the center of a "D" (likely denoting Gehrke's position of defensive back). Opposite reads "Cleveland" and his number "18" is impressed in a helmet decoration (enamel is missing from the number "1"). Marked "Balfour 10K" on the interior band and the ring weighs (27) grams.
