Description: Important 1975 Johnny Bench Cincinnati Reds World Series Championship trophy. Miniature version of the iconic trophy presented to the Championship team each season as given to Johnny Bench following the Reds World Series victory. A momentous offering and categorically within the short list of the most significant player presented Championship trophies to ever come to auction. The piece stands 12" tall with brass pennants representing each team in both the American and National Leagues ringing the base. At the center is a brass ring topped with crown finial. Reds and Red Sox World Series press pin facades are mounted in the front. A brass ring which encircles the base reads "Cincinnati Reds World Champions 1975, Johnny Bench, Catcher." Few areas of minor surface wear and light aging are visible with overall appearance presenting as very fine. Very fine and significant World Championship presentational piece with relation to the greatest catcher in MLB history.
