Highly prestigious award as presented by the Commissioner of Major League Baseball in recognition of accomplishments and contributions of historical significance. At the time of its presentation the offered award was just the second presented to a non-player. The striking award stands 11" tall with a cylindrical pillar supporting a gold plated sterling silver baseball inscribed to Scully by Commissioner Bud Selig along with titling, "Vin Scully Hall of Fame Broadcaster: More than 60 Consecutive Seasons as The Voice of the Dodgers". Both the trophy base and the baseball finial are impressed with proper Tiffany & Co. sterling silver hallmarks. Incredibly poignant and historically significant award as presented to the greatest broadcaster in the history of the game.
