Description: Vin Scully 1981 Los Angeles Dodgers World Series trophy. Original figural World Series trophy as presented to Scully as a member of the World Champion 1981 Dodgers. Trophy is an exact rendering of the full sized team variant standing 12" tall featuring brass pennants with team names around the perimeter of a large brass circle with a crown finial. Dodgers and Yankees enameled World Series press pins facades adorn the center area with "Los Angeles Dodgers World Championship Trophy Presented by the Commissioner of Baseball October 29, 1981 Vin Scully" in black lettering on the front. The trophy retains its original Balfour labeling under the base and is affixed (under the base) within a clear acrylic dome as displayed within the Scully home. Acrylic dome is removeable if so desired but was left intact for the discretion of the winning bidder. Very desirable personal World Championship trophy from the Dodgers first title of the 1980s era.
