Description: Yankee Stadium locker c.1976-2008. Important original locker as removed from Yankee stadium had been in use from the time of their 1976 remodel until closure of the famed venue in 2008. While there were some cosmetic changes made throughout the years (with regard to trim) the enclosure (and its shelf configuration and side windows/grate) is the same as those which can be seen in countless locker room photographs taken over the course of many years. The locker stands 96" tall with a footprint of roughly 51"x50". There is a light set within the top which remains functional as does a single plug outlet (both powered by an extension cord). As expected given the intended use, there is some general wear throughout and the electric outlet face plate has a small chip. A small notation on the back relays that it was possibly an Umpire's locker.
