Description: Rare Babe Ruth Mutoscope reel c.1920s-30s. Flip book style film reel features Babe Ruth with bat in hand on one half while the other shows him boxing. Comprised of many sequential black and white photographic images, when placed in a viewer the user could watch a "moving picture" with the turn of a rotating handle. The metal core is marked "Inter. Muto. Reel Co." and there is some mild toning and general handling and age related wear.
