Description: 1955 Yankees Goodwill Tour of Japan related ephemera. Includes (2) different style original ticket stubs from game played on November 1, 1955 in Japan; (17) page packet of stapled together paperwork with the cover reading "Your Itinerary, Japan Travel Bureau" and there is a handwritten "M/Mrs Mickey Charles Mantle #7" notation written at the top. Our consignor does not recall the exact history of this piece and we do not offer it as having been Mantle's personal copy; (4) loose typewritten pages which related the Yankees "Official Passenger List", "Passenger List by Destination", travel dates, and a schedule of games; additional sheet of paper which has another draft schedule typed on; additional packet of similar information which is labeled "New York Yankees Goodwill Tour - Japan 1955" on the front and interior pages are mimeographs from the period; original program issued for the November 16th and 17th, 1955 stop that the Yankees made in Okinawa as their Goodwill Tour was wrapping up.
