Description: Sam Davis Pittsburgh Steelers professional model jersey c.1970s (Steelers Pro Shop provenance). White jersey with black and gold sleeve accents has the number "57" on front, back, and shoulders. There is a "Davis" nameplate across the back which appears to have been replaced by the team in the period. Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively..." tag is on the left front tail with an additional below noting size (50) and it appears that the sleeves were shortened slightly. Nice use and wash wear are evident throughout with a few small team repairs. Light scattered staining. Davis played with the Steelers for over a decade and was a member of (4) of their Super Bowl Championship teams. Includes the original Steelers Pro Shop price tag however the corresponding hologram (which we presume would have been placed on the jersey at time of sale) is no longer present and LOA from Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$2,500)
