Description: Glen Edwards Pittsburgh Steelers professional model jersey c.1970s (Steelers Pro Shop provenance). White jersey with black and yellow sleeve accent stripes has number "27" on the front, back, and shoulders. An "Edwards" nameplate is on the back. Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively…" tag is on the front tail with an additional below noting size (44). Use and wash wear are evident throughout along with some very minor spotting/stains. Our consignor has relayed that this is a rare shirt and one of, if not the, only Edwards jerseys which the Steelers had in their archive. Edwards played with the team from 1971-1977 and was a member of (2) Super Bowl Championship teams. While not hologrammed it does include the original Steelers Pro Shop price tag.
