Description: Superb 1982 Jack Lambert Pittsburgh Steelers professional model game used jersey (Heavy use and team repairs) (1983 and 1984 MeiGray multi-game photomatch). White jersey with black and yellow sleeve accent stripes has number "58" on the front, back, and shoulders. A "Lambert" nameplate is on the back. Medalist Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively…" tag is on the front tail with an additional below noting size (52). Printed "82" year tag is to one side. Outstanding use is evident throughout including a number of team repairs. MeiGray has photomatched the jersey to Steelers games played on November 13, 1983 vs. Colts in Baltimore and January 1, 1984 vs. Raiders in Los Angeles. Lambert is recognized by the Football Hall of Fame as "the greatest linebacker of his era" and played on (4) Super Bowl Championship teams with the Steelers during his (11) year run with the team. His career started strong with Defensive Rookie of the Year honors following his first season and he did not relent in the decade which followed. He was named to (9) straight Pro Bowls, was All-Pro (8) times, and was the Steelers team defensive captain for (8) years. The offered represents a rare, outstanding, and well documented game jersey from the best defender on what was one of the greatest defensive lines ever assembled.
