Description: 1966 Dodgers Goodwill Tour of Japan related pieces from the Doug Harvey Collection. Very nice assortment of material from Harvey Collection related to the trip in which he took part to serve as a member of the umpiring crew. Includes Tamazawa brand baseball signed by (10) members of the Yomiuri Giants including Sadaharu Oh. Autographs are done in Kanji with English language identifiers written nearby (these may not have been done by the respective player). Toned with clear coat applied (along with Dymo identification labels) and there is a small strip of residue over "Sadaharu" identifier; Yomirui Giants professional quality hat (no makers' mark) and an Umpire's hat (by Tamazawa) which each have Dymo identification labels on brims relaying that they are related to the Tour; (2) baseballs which are autographed by Japanese umpires who took part in the games played (one of these has a panel filled with block letter text inscribed to Harvey); and a wooden plaque (8.5"x6") which has a pair of enameled pins affixed (backs presumably removed) that were presented to those who took part in the Tour.
