Description: 1968 St. Louis Cardinals team signed baseball - National League Champions. Spalding W.Giles Official National League baseball has been signed by (25) incl. Roger Maris, Red Schoendienst, Orlando Cepeda, Lou Brock, Tim McCarver, Steve Carlton, Curt Flood, Mike Shannon, and others. Ink signatures rate uniformly strong 8 out of 10 or slightly better. Ball is slightly off white with a clear coat applied along with Dymo identification labels over stampings. One label minimally touches over a letter or two in a few signatures (incl. Brock who appears to have had a minute portion of the last name traced over). An outstanding example of this popular team.
