Description: Oakland Athletics professional model hat attributed to Reggie Jackson c.1973-74 Classic style is done in green with yellow brim and accent button. "A's" logo embroidered on the front is a style which went into use by the team during the 1973 season (possibly as early as the 1972 World Series). "New Era…Pro Model" tag on the interior leather band along with a size tag which can no longer be read. Number "9" is written under the brim in vintage marker. The style of team logo and tagging on leather band helps date the hat c.1973-74. The number "9" was issued to Reggie Jackson during those seasons and he would help lead Oakland to a pair of back-to-back World Series Championships. Nice age and some additional age related wear including numerous moth holes and few stains on the brim.
