Description: Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris Post Cereal advertising poster c.1962 Large format promotional poster featuring portrait images of both Mantle and Maris advertising that "Free Trading Cards" can be found on boxes of Post Cereal. The poses used are the same which were employed on their 1962 Post Cereal cards. Done on paper stock which measures 48"x34" in total however it was intended to be hung over a string or wire. This would result in the front or back being visible depending on position of the viewer with each individual side displaying at 24"x34". It remains in very nice overall condition, especially considering the fragile paper stock on which it is printed, with some light/mild scattered wear including a vertical fold down the center. The Mantle side has a small half circle tear on the lower edge just off center. Maris has some more pronounced wear along the bottom of the vertical fold including a separation at the bottom. There are some other minor scattered wrinkles/flaws. In general, the Maris side shows heavier wear and a touch of discoloration.
