Description: Doug Harvey National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction presentational ring. Desirable and significant ring presented to Doug Harvey for his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Classic design features an inset silver baseball on a black field with "Baseball Hall of Fame" lettering around the beveled edge. "Umpire" appears on one shank above a relief image of the Hall of Fame. Opposite has the name "Harvey" atop crossed bat and ball motif. Stamped "Jostens 10K" on the interior band. Size (11) with a touch of light wear and weighs (22) grams. Harvey is one of just nine umpires who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame in recognition of their long and valued contributions to the game of baseball. His Major League career, spent entirely in the National League, spanned from 1962 to 1992 and including officiating (5) World Series and (7) All-Star Games.
