Description: Spalding "Wagon-Tongue" ring decorated baseball bat c.1890-1900. Hand turned 33" long bat has well defined "Spalding" centerbrand stamp and "Wagon Tongue" titling. The barrel end is finished in black and there is a small ring just above the handle which is factory scored for grip. Use is evident throughout and there is a handle crack which is secured from behind with nails. The black end has been touched up in a few small areas. Very nice example for display retaining far better markings than most: EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,000)
