Description: 1959 Lindy McDaniel St. Louis Cardinals professional model road jersey with related 1956 pants/belt. Grey flannel jersey with classic embroidered Cardinals team name across the front having "8" on reverse which appears to be a period number change from McDaniels rostered "41" although we are not able to detect any evidence of the number removal with the "8" showing excellent use/wash wear. Original Rawlings manufacturer's label found on tail front with "42" strip tag and "McDaniel 59". "Set 1 1959" tag and wash tag inside the tail front. The shirt includes a pair of original matching Cardinals grey flannel pants having Rawlings manufacturer's label and "Set 1 1956" flag tag. Vintage red leather belt is included as well with "1" written in black marker on interior. Moderates general use/wash wear visible throughout.
