Description: 1983 Wade Boggs American League Batting Champion 10K gold salesman's' sample ring (EX/MT) Sample ring in the style of that which was presented to Boggs. Top face features red colored background stone with inset CZ diamond. Lettered around the edge, "American League Batting Champion" with inner bezzle reading "Boston Red Sox." Left shank has "Boggs" at top in relief with bird carrying "Boston Red Sox" banner over the earth with enameled team logo below. Right has similarly styled relief reading "1983 American League .361 Average." Interior band is marked, "Balfour 10K." Size 10 and weighs 35 grams (1.2oz).
