Description: Honus Wagner signed GPC sent to Christy Walsh authorizing use of his name and picture (EX/MT). 3"x5 1/4" GPC which acted as a "release" for Walsh to use Wagner's name and picture in a Sports Calendar. The typed "Release" reads "This will authorize you to use my name and picture as one of several pictures to appear on a Sport calendar which you are preparing." Wagner signed in ink and added "June 4 - 51" date and "Carnegie PA" location. The GPC is postmarked 1951 on both sides with on postmark overlapping Wagner's signature. Wagner's signature rates 9 out of 10 with note to the postmark overlapping. It appears that the GPC was slightly trimmed down from its original size. Otherwise EX/MT.Final Bid: $531.00
