Description: Vintage Ty Cobb Louisville Slugger 250 model baseball bat c.1916-22 (VG). 36" Louisville Slugger 250 Ty Cobb model bat with "Weather Seasoned - Hand Bone Rubbed" stamping to the left of the centerbrand. Bat exhibits heavy usage wear including surface scratching, indents, and has an area of discoloraion at the end of the barrel from exposure to moisture. A moderate amount of period tape is affixed to the handle. And the initials "N.S.P." are written in period green paint on the back of the barrel. Model 250 bats were the highest quality issued by Louisville Slugger, and were known to be used by some professional players at the time: VGFinal Bid: $1,120.00
