Description: Mickey Mantle signed Louisville Slugger K55 model college bat c.1965-68 with hand-painted portrait (displays as EX). 34" Louisville Slugger K55 Mickey Mantle bat which was a college team bat, but had the college name removed from the barrel. Mantle signed the barrel, where the college team name once was, in blue sharpie. Signature rates 9 out of 10. A hand-painted image of Mantle batting by artist Kathryn A. Gainard is to the left of the signature. Bat exhibits moderate usage wear including numerous ball marks. A section of the back of the barrel measuring 9" in length is missing.
